For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the greatness of his government and peace
there will be no end.
Isaiah 9:6-7, NIV

For he himself is our peace He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.
Ephesians 2:14,17, NIV

Seek good, not evil that you may live.
Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you,
just as you say he is.
Amos 5:14 NIV

The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.
The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.
Psalm 145:9
