“There are certain places that grab you. Places where time loses consequence, that make the hairs stand up on your forearms and whose energy invokes the spirit of your life. The summit of Mount Assiniboine in the Canadian Rockies is such a place.”
Ben Bowler, New Hoper

“Curiosity might be pictured as being made up of small questions extending outwards, sometimes over huge distances, from a central hub composed of a few blunt, large questions. In childhood we ask, ‘Why is there good and evil?’ ‘How does nature work?’ ‘Why am I me?’ If circumstances and temperament allow, we then build on these questions during adulthood, our curiosity encompassing more and more of the world until at some point we may reach that elusive stage where we are bored by nothing.”
The Art of Travel, page 116

“The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it...”
Psalm 24:1, NIV

“Seek God while he's here to be found, pray to him while he's close at hand.”
The prophet Isaiah 55:6, MSG

"Seek me and live...”
God in Amos 5:4

“Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.”
John re: Jesus in chapter 1:3, NIV

"I was always fascinated by mountains when I was young I used to look at this book The Canadian Rockies Trail Guide Brain Patterson Bart Robinson 1973 I dreamt of all the place that I could not walk to, I did eventually manage some of the shorter ones. I had a fascination to see mt Assiniboine. When I had a car I drove to see it from the south via radium. I saw it slightly in the distance but it was so elusive,
( I used to think of god that way till now I realize that god is everything, and is Hidden in Plain view ) anyway thanks for making the video"
